Tottenham to take advantage of Leeds’ relegation with ‘cut-price deal’ for defender

Tottenham have added Leeds United defender Robin Koch to their summer shortlist, according to reports. THFC LUFC

Leeds’ ultra-slim hopes of avoiding the drop on the final day appeared dashed in the only the second minute against Tottenham when Harry Kane fired the visitors into an early lead.

And now Spurs are looking to take advantage of Leeds’ relegation by making Koch a summer transfer target. Koch’s contract situation ‘makes a summer move even more likely for the player’ while Tottenham have also ‘shown interest in goalkeeper Illan Meslier and winger Jack Harrison’. Daniel Levy has taken much of the blame for their terrible season but caretaker boss Ryan Mason insists the Tottenham chairman has been “let down by other people”.
