During the Leeds United v Cardiff City match on Saturday, February 1, fans paid a touching tribute to Daniel. At the 19th minute of the match, his picture was shown on the big screen at the stadium in Elland Road. The stadium then broke into applause, with thousands of fans paying tribute to the teenager.
"There will be a fan-generated minute’s applause in the 19th minute and there will be a picture of Daniel on the stadium’s big screen.”
