Ilkeston Charter Fair is back this week
Thousands of people from across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire are expected to attend the popular event throughout the four-day event. The fair first came to the town in 1252 and is one of the most classic examples of a sprawling street fair that transforms the town into something almost unrecognisable.
The fair will be situated in Bath Street, Market Place, East Street, South Street, Queen Street, Wharncliffe Road and Pimlico. Attractions are open from 6pm until 11pm on Wednesday, October 19, and from noon until 11pm Thursday, October 20, Friday, October 21 and Saturday, October 22.
