Buoyed by the success of Inside Out 2, Pixar is returning to another much-loved franchise
Hear that? The familiar burble in the distance? It's the unmistakeable sound of Randy Newman warming up his vocal chords for another instalment in the Toy Story franchise.Almost 30 years since the original film reached cinemas , Pixar announced at the Disney D23 Expo that another adventure was on the way. Fans were even given a little sneak peek at a still from the upcoming movie.
Who is in Toy Story 5?So far Tim Allen and Blake Clarke have been confirmed, but we’re sure that Tom Hanks , Joan Cusack and more surprise guest stars will be announced in due course.What’s the plot of Toy Story 5?According to the film’s director, Andrew Stanton, TS5 will tackle “what kids are obsessed with today: electronics”. The image released also shows what looks like a kid, under a blanket, looking at an iPad while the toys look on sadly.
