There has since been drama surrounding the agreement with allegations of coercion and pressure on teams to sign. Justin Marks, owner of Trackhouse Racing, has voiced his perspective on the contentious situation, offering a view that contrasts with the opinions held by 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports, who chose not to sign the agreement.
Marks admitted that his relationship with NASCAR has always been framed by a philosophy of partnership.'Every team and team owner has their own relationship with NASCAR and mine, the philosophy of mine is always coming from a place of partnership and collaboration.'So, I don't necessarily feel like it was that way,' he noted, referencing the perceived coercion.In contrast, 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports opted to not sign the agreement by the deadline.
