Rain & storm chances are scattered Sunday, more isolated in nature Monday through Wednesday.
MONTGOMERY, Ala. - It is officially June… and it will definitely feel like it as we move through the next week. Temperatures will soar back to around 90 mid-week, the humid factor will be noticeable and typical of summer, the afternoon scattered to isolated rain and storm chances will be possible each day now through Thursday.
Tonight clouds remain in place. A few passing showers will be possible, along with a rumble of thunder or two. Winds will be around 5 mph out of the southeast, gusting at times. Lows will hover in the 60s. The weather pattern becomes very summer-like as we move into the work week. Very fitting for the first full week of June.
Showers and storms will form during the afternoon hours, all thanks to the heat and humidity in place early to mid week next week. Those storms will be very hit or miss. Any storm that does develop could produce heavy rain, lighting gusty winds and maybe small hail.
