INDIANA, USA — Watch out for some rain showers at times this Easter weekend across Indiana as our next storm system moves in. It will not be a washout, but there will be times you want the umbrella on standby. Other times we'll be okay! When will those times be?TRACKING THE EASTER STORM SYSTEM MOVING IN
Higher pressure is here to wrap up the week, but two storms from the west are quickly approaching. The first one will hit for Easter weekend with some on-and-off rain. The second one, the more powerful one, will hit next week with a lot more rain and severe storm chances.Before they arrive, quick hitting, isolated showers are possible at any time coming in from the Corn Belt. Higher rain chances move in Saturday early morning through Tuesday of next week.
A quick shower is possible at any time, but there are times when we have the best chance for rain that hits more counties across Indiana.Watch for some rain developing, with a few rumbles of thunder. Best chance will be north of Indianapolis along a warm front that brings in 60s and 70s for the weekend.A few leftover showers are possible, but we should temporarily dry out. A little sunshine is possible.SATURDAY NIGHTWe should start dry with mostly cloudy skies.
