Taylor is headed to the Chicago Bears for a 2025 draft pick.
On the eve of the preseason finale for the Seattle Seahawks, general manager John Schneider remains a busy man as he works to trim the roster ahead of the cuts deadline. Thursday the Hawks traded cornerback Mike Jackson to the Carolina Panthers, and on Friday morning the team made another trade according to a report from NFL insider Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network.
The second trade in as many days sends former second round pick Darrell Taylor to the Chicago Bears, with a sixth round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft coming back in return. Taylor finishes his Seattle career with 21.5 sacks in four years, though he only saw the field in three seasons after spending the entirety of his rookie season on the nonfootball injury list while recovering from surgery to repair a stress fracture.
