Trademarket will now be providing free sanitary products in their toilets to join in the battle against period poverty in Northern Ireland.

Belfast's newest outdoor market is celebrating National Gin and Tonic with a unique event for a good cause.

Sip on some Boatyard gins serves as you channel your inner creative, with 10% of all ticket sales going straight to the charity.The Homeless Period Belfast distributes period care packs to a wide range of people in need - from rough sleepers and the homeless to people who depend on food banks, refugees and asylum seekers to teenagers living in poverty and community youth groups.

"We organised this event with Wee Nuls to showcase and support local talent and use our space to be as creative as possible. We intend on talking to those who attend about Homeless Period Belfast and going forward we will be providing period products in all bathrooms.
