A bus A traffic enforcer was killed after a bus driver sped up and hit him instead of accepting his traffic violation ticket in Dasmariñas, Cavite on Wednesday.According to Jamie Santos' report on "Saksi," the incident happened in front of a mall in Barangay Sampaloc 1. Police investigation showed that the traffic enforcer apprehended the suspect for violating the “no loading” policy. The bus driver sped up and hit the victim, the report said.
“So ang ginawa po, nung paglapit nung traffic enforcer natin, pinaandar niya yung sasakyan niya, hanggang sa masagasaan niya yung traffic enforcer at makaladkad niya pa po ito,” she added. The suspect was arrested in a follow-up operation. The Dasmariñas City Police said that the bus driver was charged with murder and had been detained at its custodial facility. Meanwhile, the D.asmariñas City Traffic Management Unit mourns the passing of their colleague.
