A 34-year-old woman and a three-year-old boy have died after a lorry hit their car - which had broken down in a live lane on a Lincolnshire Road.
Police say the woman and the child's families have been informed and are currently being supported by specialist officers. The tragic crash happened at about 9.06pm last night when a white articulated lorry was travelling westbound along the A180, Immingham between Stallingborough and Brocklesby. It is believed to have then collided with a stationary blue Ford Focus which had broken down in a live lane. The 34-year-old woman and three-year-old boy sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.
