Police have announced that a woman tragically died in an incident at a Leeds train station at the weekend that left the line closed for hours.

British Transport Police have now issued an update, announcing a woman has sadly died after a casualty was reported on the tracks at East Garforth train station. They said her death isn't being treated as suspicious.A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: "British Transport Police were called to East Garforth station at 12.44pm on Saturday 15 October following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
