Transfer gossip: Liverpool have ‘strong interest’ in West Ham star who Klopp ‘loves’; PSG want Chelsea forward
Widespread reports have indicated that Liverpool were prepared to wait until next summer to land the right man in midfield. The Reds insisted they weren’t going to sign a new midfielder in the last transfer window before they seemed to panic and bring in Juventus midfielder Arthur on loan. Liverpool are still ‘pushing hard’ for Bellingham but increasing competition from Real Madrid and others has the Reds looking at other options. Klopp is a ‘huge admirer of Rice’ and ‘believes he would be a perfect fit for his team’.
