Only a few tickets remain for Translink's bus special to the All-Ireland final and it remains unclear if any additional services will be provided

Translink have urged supporters heading to Croke Park next Sunday to secure their seat on their bus special after two special trains sold out within minutes of going on sale on Friday morning.

Translink announced details of their bus special, with departures from Armagh and Newry, on Wednesday, with the rail specials being confirmed on Friday. A Translink spokesperson said: “We are operating two rail specials as well as bus specials from Armagh and Newry to the GAA finals in Croke Park on Sunday, July, 28.

“Enterprise services are also exceptionally busy on Sunday, July 28 and we again recommend that passengers book in advance. Translink were criticised last month when their bus specials departed before the end of the All-Ireland SFC quarter-final double-header with Armagh beating Roscommon, but fans were unable to stay to watch Galway’s historic win over Dublin.
