VARIOUS groups on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, held protests amid the continuous oil price hike brought about by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
MMDA chairman Romando Artes said 11 commuter vans, six buses and three military trucks were prepositioned in strategic areas to give free rides to the commuting public.The protest was also held to condemn what they claim to be the failure of the government to address the looming oil crisis. The group said the fuel subsidy being distributed by the government is not enough to sustain their operations.
