Gabor Mate had more than an hour-long 'intimate conversation' with the Prince about his book, his mental health, and how you can live with loss and heal from it
Prince Harry has been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder during a live conversation with trauma expert Dr Gabor Maté.
The conversation was livestreamed to those who paid for the £17 tickets, and included a copy of the Duke's memoir Spare, which the doctor referenced multiple times throughout the justification of his diagnosis. "Whether you like it or not, I diagnosed you with ADD, okay? It takes one to know one, I share that diagnosis."
"When a kid is in a stressful environment, one way they cope with it, they scatter their attention, they remove themselves from the stress, and I think there's a lot of stress in your life." Dr Maté reassured the Prince, responding: "No, I think that's the beauty of this conversation and the beauty of stance you have taken in the world. To which Harry replied: "At any age? That's encouraging."
