Four men are charged with murder while two further defendants deny assisting an offender following the shooting of the teenager
Six people charged in connection with the murder of 19-year-old Nyle Corrigan will go on trial today. Mr Corrigan died after being shot in the back on Boode Croft, Stockbridge Village , in the early evening of November 12 2020. Residents living close to the scene reported the teenager was shot a short distance away from the cul-de-sac before he staggered towards a house where he collapsed. Mr Corrigan lived around a 10 minute walk from the scene and had friends in the area.
Coggins, of The Spinney, Stockbridge Village, Llewellyn, of Olivette Way, St Helens , Smith of Midway Road in Huyton and Wilson, of no fixed address, all deny both charges. The four men will appear in the dock with two further defendants - Melanie Smith, 47, and Mark Sharpe, 49.
