TRIBUTES have been paid to a popular bookmaker's shop worker who has tragically passed away at the age of just 55.
Caroline McCormick, a much-loved employee of the Ladbrokes in the Port town centre, died in Ardgowan Hospice after a brave battle against ovarian cancer.
Grieving relatives say that Caroline, who also leaves behind her mum Jeanette, was a special person who was 'loved by all who knew her' and 'lit up every room'.
