Jamie Lyons, 19, was reported missing from Kirkcaldy on Sunday, September 29 - but police confirmed a body had been found during a search on Monday.
Tributes have been paid to a "one in a million" teenage Thai boxer after a body was found in the search for him.Police searching for the 19-year-old confirmed they had found a body in a woodland area in the town on Monday at around 4.20pm. Formal identification has yet to take place but the teenager's family have been informed.Muay Thai Fighting Fit Gym, in Kirkcaldy , led the tributes to the popular amateur Thai fighter.
She said: "I am lost for words. Loving you the past 9 months has been the most special moments of my life and I will cherish our memories forever. "You were in amazing person that will hold a big space in my heart forever, I love you Jamie. You were one in a million."Ewan Mclean Jnr commented: "Rest in peace, Jamie Lyon. You were one of a kind, with a heart of gold, who would do anything for anyone. You will be missed by many."
