The former Clydebank FC frontrunner's death was announced by the club on Friday as they took to social media to offer their condolences to Mr Munro's loved-ones.
The Holm Park club wrote on X, formerly Twitter: "It’s with sadness we’ve learned former Clydebank manager Bill Munro has passed away. Bankies Archive added: "It is with great sadness that we have, this morning, learned that legendary Clydebank FC manager Bill Munro has passed away. Bill steered the Bankies to successive league promotions taking the club from Division 2 to the Premier League. RIP Bill."
