MANILA, Philippines — Meralco coach Luigi Trillo said the Bolts hold the San Miguel Beermen in high regard heading to their PBA Philippine Cup best-of-seven title series that starts this Wednesday.
While personnel-wise the Beermen are stacked from their starters to the last guy in the bench, Trillo is confident the Bolts have what it takes to match up against the highly-favored SMB side.'We've been to so many wars with these guys.
Veterans Allein Maliksi, Chris Newsome, Chris Banchero and Raymund Almazan are the main anchors of the Bolts side that will try to finally, win the team's first-ever PBA title since joining the league in 2010-11.
