and thousands of music lovers will be gathering in Glasgow Green to hear a number of tunes from some of the biggest artists., George Ezra and Pulp wowed the crowds with their performances.
Fans are in for a treat today with rapper Aitch, beloved band Kasabian and Geordie star Sam Fender set to step onto the main stage today. As a reminder if you are making your way to the music festival today make sure that you take your ID with you because people under the age of 16 are not allowed into TRNSMT this year.Stewards will be operating a Challenge 25 policy at the entrance, so if you look under 25 they will be asking to see a valid ID. YoungScot cards will be accepted but the PASS hologram mustn't be faded as it’ll not be accepted. Photos or photocopies of ID will also not be accepted.
The sun did eventually break through the clouds but you should bring your poncho if you are heading along today. It'll be a bright start but thundery showers are expected in the afternoon.We'll be keeping you up-to-date with all the latest from the festival!
