NBC affiliate WALB of Albany, Georgia, reported that the man died when a tree fell on a property on 13 Avenue SW in Moultrie, Colquitt County. The death was confirmed by Coroner C. Verlyn Brock, although no other details have been released. First responders were working to remove the tree after the call was received around 3 p.m. yesterday.Authorities in Georgia's Chatham County are preparing for Tropical Storm Debby's impact on the area, which includes the city of Savannah, with achose to ignore warning signs and drive through flooded streets.
