The trough of Super Typhoon Yagi will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain over extreme Northern Luzon while the southwest monsoon or habagat will affect the rest of Luzon on Friday, PAGASA reported.The weather continues to monitor Super Typhoon Yagi, which is outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility . Yagi is located 825 kilometers west of Norther Luzon packing maximum sustained winds of 195 kilometers per hour, gustiness of up to 240 kph and moving westward at the speed of 20 kph.
Metro Manila, Cordillera Administrative Region, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, and the rest of Ilocos Region and Central Luzon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.The rest of the country will experience the effects of localized thunderstorms with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.
