On Sunday, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene insanely claimed: “The DOJ is ‘prosecuting’ Hunter Biden on gun charges and trying to create sympathy for Joe Biden .” Then, on Tuesday, after the guilty verdict was handed down, Trump adviser Stephen Miller claimed that the DOJ—whose investigation led to the president’s son becoming a convicted felon—is “running election interference for Joe Biden .
In contrast to the ravings from Team Trump, Joe Biden released a measured statement on Tuesday saying he loves his son and nevertheless respects the judicial process. Biden said last week he would not pardon Hunter if convicted.
