Trump, who has vowed to bring an end to the conflict, said he had 'better not say' how many times he had spoken to Putin about the war but expressed his desire to see people stop dying. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov neither confirmed nor denied the reports, stating that 'many different communications are emerging'.
