Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump raised more than $50 million Saturday night at an event in Palm Beach, Florida.
The event, hosted by billionaire investor John Paulson, set a record for a single fundraiser, nearly doubling the money Presidentat Radio City Music Hall in New York, where he was joined by former Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.
“Tonight, we raised an historic $50.5 million for the re-election of President Trump,” Paulson said in a statement. “This sold-out event has raised the most in a single political fundraiser in history.
