On Monday, Trump signed an executive order related to drinking straws, with Staff Secretary Will Scharf saying that the environmental impact between paper and plastic straws was 'entirely unclear' and was wasting the U.S. government money. 'If something is hot they don't last very long. Like a matter of minutes, sometimes a matter of seconds, it's a ridiculous situation,' Trump said. 'And I don't think that plastic is going to affect a shark very much as they are eating, as they are munching their way through the ocean.'
