The former US president boarded his private jet where he issued a short message on his social media app before touching down in New York City and escorted by police and a motorcade of about 10 cars through the busy streets to his residence.
The billionaire businessman boarded a private jet in Florida on Tuesday afternoon for the almost three-hour trip to the Big Apple where he will spend the night in his Trump Tower residence before his arraignment at a lower Manhattan courthouse.

New York City Major Eric Adams has warned demonstrators and Marjorie Taylor Greene, a prolific Trump supporter, to"behave". Fingerprints and a mugshot of the defendant are usually taken but the latter is in question as authorities are concerned about the leaking of the photo.After the formal proceedings are completed, he will likely walk through the public hallway before going into the back exit to his motorcade due to security concerns.
