Thomas Tuchel has admitted Graham Potter’s sacking as Chelsea manager boss ‘didn’t bring out huge emotions’ in him.on Sunday night following a torrid run of results that has seen the club drop into the bottom half of the Premier League table.Potter replaced Tuchel as Chelsea boss back in September
This comes just seven months after Potter replaced Tuchel as Chelsea boss in September following a rocky start to the season. While the Blues’ struggles have continued throughout the campaign, Tuchel has since bounced back by being named the new Bayern Munich boss and getting his first match off to an excellent start with a 4-2 victory over Borussia Dortmund at the weekend.It was inevitable he’d be quizzed on Potter’s sacking, but Tuchel seemed unfazed when asked about the current situation and, in truth, completely unbothered.“The timing is quite stunning because it coincides with me starting the job here.
“It took me some time to distance myself [after getting fired by Chelsea] because I really loved working there and struck up friendships for life with staff there.
