Tulisa Contostavlos has revealed she was 'hyperventilating and in tears' following her emotional time on I'm A Celebrity . The 36-year-old N-Dubz singer skipped the show’s final and deleted all references to the series from her Instagram after being the third contestant voted out of the jungle. After quickly returning to the UK and sharing on Instagram that the experience had left her feeling 'overwhelmed,' Tulisa left her loyal fans extremely concerned, reports the Mirror.
She confessed she still had 'demons' during an emotional Instagram post as she opened up about navigating life in the spotlight following her 10-year break. The singer has now admitted how she really felt, revealing she was 'hyperventilating' and 'crying'. Speaking to the Guardian she confessed: “I came out, still followed by cameras, all t**s and teeth, and it wasn’t until I was on my own that I felt this introvert-overload. 'I was hyperventilating, crying. It was too much.” She was never able to determine, “Is this about a fear I have of being in the spotlight? Or is the person I’ve become just not the kind of person that wants fame any more?” Tulisa stepped away from the spotlight for a decade after a challenging period, which involved a sting operation targeting her for drug use. The Camden-born star said she was curious about returning to life in the limelight. She expressed: “I had a lot of fear surrounding exposure and I got to the point where I thought: ‘Am I holding on to this fear because of what people have done to me in the past? Am I letting other people change my perception of what my career is and could be?’ I didn’t want to feel that way any more.” Following her jungle exit, Tulisa faced a wave of rumours, including a reported fallout with her best friend, Michelle McKenna, and frustration over how she was portrayed in the show's editing
