TUPAC Shakur was "being blackmailed by an organised crime group" just before he was gunned down in Las Vegas, official FBI documents reveal.
Documents reveal the blackmail scam centred around a terrifying protection racket being run by an "organised crime" figure.Compton-born Eazy, real name Eric Wright, died of AIDS-related pneumonia on March 26, 1995 aged just 31.However, some members of his family insist the 'Godfather of Gangsta Rap' was actually murdered.
"The scheme involves....subjects making telephonic death threats to the rap star. Subjects then intercede by contacting and offering protection for a 'fee'.
