There already appear to be restrictions on social media platforms like Twitter and Tik Tok inside Turkey. Government-held areas of Syria have reported 1,262 people dead, while 1,900 people have died in rebel-controlled northern areas.Mr Erdogan said at least 6,400 buildings were destroyed in Turkey. "Survivable voids" have been created by the way the buildings have collapsed, said David O'Neill, whose team is operating from a stadium in Hatay.
