A South African TV executive was involved in a shocking altercation on a FlySafair flight, throwing her drink at a flight attendant and engaging in a physical struggle with passengers.

This is the shocking moment a top South African TV boss hurls her drink at a flight attendant before removing her own wig and tussling with other passengers. Phone footage from the FlySafair flight from Durban to Cape Town, on Boxing Day, shows the passenger arguing furiously with the stewardess while backed into a window seat.

As the attendant approaches the TV executive with plastic hand restraints while telling her to 'listen to me', the passenger can be seen yelling back before grabbing the ties and throwing them over the seat. But the mid-air bust up quickly began to spiral when a traveller sitting behind the unruly passenger reaches over in a bid to help the stewardess restrain her. The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) Brand Manager shuffles around in her seat, telling the pair 'you can not do this' before launching her drink into the face of the flight attendant. Sounds of shock and disbelief echo around the aircraft and the clip cuts to the moment the passenger rises from her seat and shoves another stewardess away while yelling: 'Back off, back off'. The pushing evolves into a chaotic flight, involving multiple passengers who are attempting to push the telly exec back down into her seat. Two male passengers finally manage to grab a hold of her wrists as the stewardess battles to attach the restraints to her. Footage captured the moment an unruly passenger threw her drink at a flight attendant Passengers could be seen trying to shove the woman back into her seat after she went on a dramatic rant But the FlySafair staff member emerges unsuccessful when the TV manager again stands up from her seat, shouting: 'Who are you?' to the passengers seated behind her. Then, in a bizarre twist, the furious flyer rips off her blonde wig while continuing her dramatic rant from her chair. A man seated next to her can be heard telling the passengers behind them to stop touching her, while also repeatedly demanding the woman to 'calm down
