BBC comedy TV exec killed herself months after finding her son hanged at family home
A BBC comedy executive killed herself months after finding her ballet dancer son hanged at their family home, an inquest heard.
She had struggled to get over the death of her son, James, and took an overdose before collapsing at a doctor's surgery.The coroner was told Mrs Beauchamp worked in TV production for 20 years - on shows such as Birds of a Feather - and was a lover of food, ballet and travel. The inquest into the distraught mum's death heard she had tried to take her life the day after James' funeral but had survived.
