TV presenter George Clarke has revealed that he was the victim of a mugging, admitting that he could have been 'stabbed' by the thief. The broadcaster, who is best known for hosting renovation shows like Channel 4's The Home Show and George Clarke 's Amazing Spaces, took to social media to speak about the horrifying incident.
George reassured fans in the comments that he wasn't hurt, telling them: "I'm ok. I'm just angry with himself." He added: "I wanted to hit him but I'd be the one done for assault!!!!" The architect, 50, began his TV career back in 2004 with the Channel 5 show Property Dreams and has since presented several shows about property renovation. Earlier this year, he hosted George Clarke's Adventures in Americana - a four-part series which followed him as he toured impressive American buildings.
"I set up my own TV production company five years ago because I love the process of making a TV show and getting beautiful shots and writing nice scripts. I love that. And to be honest I don’t really watch them that much when they go out because that gets weird.
