It won't just be contestants who receive psychiatric attention, reports say
TV hosts will now be expected to undergo “yearly psych tests“ before the can go ahead with filming, according to reports.
The move comes after former Love Island host Caroline Flack took her own life on Saturday 15 February in her London flat. A source told The Sun Online: “It is now no longer just contestants and non-famous hopefuls going on air who are being monitored. In future, all presenters and TV anchors will be undergoing yearly psych tests ahead of every series or new show.
