TV stars have been paying tribute to late singer Liam Payne, attending his Home Counties funeral to pay their respects to the One Direction star who died last month
TV celebrities including James Corden , presenter Adrian Chiles and husband and wife Marvin and Rochelle Humes joined the mourners gathering at the funeral of Liam Payne today . Rochelle, Marvin and James were all dressed sombrely in black, while TV journalist Adrian was wearing a warm sports anorak over his suit to keep out the winter cold.
In a heartfelt social media post days after Liam's death, Cheryl described Liam's tragic passing as an "indescribably painful time," as she shared on Instagram that their son now has to "face the reality of never seeing his father again". She also wrote: “As I try to navigate this earth shattering event, and work through my own grief at this indescribably painful time, I'd like to kindly remind everyone that we have lost a human being.
Liam’s close friends and family gathered outside the church, which was filled with flowers, including a floral tribute of bowling pins being knocked over as a nod to Liam’s much loved pastime. His coffin arrived in a white horse-drawn carriage. White roses were laid on top of his coffin, and above the white carriage sat two wreaths showing the words 'Daddy' in blue and 'Son' in red.
