A Guinness World Record-holding survival expert has launched a new bush craft adventure at an outdoor adventure camp near Kettering. Camp Wilderness is excited to be re-opening its doors to children and families this month in Boughton Woods.
What follows is a confidence-building exercise that helps children to be children again, encouraging them to become more resilient in the face of challenges and forcing them to think on their feet. Campers stay in safari-style bell and tipi tents. Ed Stafford, Camp Wilderness ambassador, said: “It’s a delight that so many children and families wish to get outside in the picturesque British countryside at Boughton Woods. Camps like ours give fantastic experiences that are hard to replicate in normal, everyday life.
Brand Manager at Camp Wilderness, Jancis Dunn, added: “We’re excited to see the stories created at this year’s camps. Each year we see so many inspiring children really challenging themselves and showing real growth, all while motivating their parents and guardians.
