Nottingham Forest have stepped up their interest in Santiago Gimenez after their move for Eddie Nketiah reportedly fell through.
Enticingly Romano claims the Mexican forward is ‘open to the move’ putting the onus on Forest to agree terms with the Eredivisie outfit. It was reported just a few days ago that Forest had seen two bids turned down, with reports a second offer of £22 million rejected by the Dutch club. However, with news of a breakdown in Nketiah negotiations and Forest needing options other than Chris Wood and Taiwo Awoniyi, talks with Feyenoord have been resuscitated.
