The first will feature 40 hitting bays, a restaurant and bar, an outdoor covered patio with stage, putting green and meeting rooms.

GolfSuites, a national entertainment chain, is bringing its fourth location to Opelika. This is a rendering of the venue, which is scheduled to open in 2024. According to development company Broad Metro, construction will begin Aug. 13 on the facility at The Landings, located at the southeast corner of Gateway Drive, U.S. 280 and Interstate 85.

The facility will be situated on 11-plus acres with a one-story, 6,400-square-foot building. It will feature 40 hitting bays, a restaurant and bar, an outdoor covered patio with stage, putting green and meeting rooms.Hoover’s GolfSuites, the second Alabama location, will be at the southwest corner of Interstate 459 and John Hawkins Parkway in Stadium Trace Phase II, and is scheduled to open next summer.

Opelika Mayor Gary Fuller said the project will provide a new entertainment venue that will “offer everything from driving ranges, replicated greens and hazards, to restaurants, bars and events with live music.
