Two boys, aged between 10 and 15, have been killed and two men are on the run from police after a car crash in Sydney’s south-west on Monday morning.
Emergency services were called to Maxwells Avenue in Ashcroft about 10.50am following reports a grey sedan had crashed into a power pole and a jacaranda tree. Two people got out of the vehicle and ran away following the crash, police said.The two boys who died were passengers in the car. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, and no other injuries have been reported.
Neighbours said a police helicopter was circling the area and was broadcasting that police were searching for two Caucasian men, one of whom was injured. Police said they were looking for one man aged about 18 to 20 years old in a yellow shirt. The other is believed to be about 30 years old and wearing all black.
