The bodies of two people were found in separate accommodations in Hersonissos

Two British nationals have been tragically found dead in their hotel rooms in Crete. The bodies of a 71 year old woman and a 58 year old man were discovered in separate accommodations in Hersonissos, a town popular with British tourists on the Greek island of Crete.

Just hours later, a British man was also found deceased in a different hotel in the same town. He was rushed to hospital by ambulance but was declared dead upon arrival. Both Brits are believed to have had pre-existing health conditions, with autopsies currently being conducted to shed "light" on both cases, say Greek police. This follows a day after a British man died after encountering difficulties while diving off the coast of Majorca with four friends.
