Two men have been charged and remanded into custody after a burglary in Rickmansworth.
Officers raced to The Clump on June 20 after a member of the public reported two men acting suspiciously. Herts Police said in a social media post:"Both the Intervention and Safer Neighbourhood Teams attended, acting swiftly to detain two men and recover suspected stolen jewellery nearby.Johnny Doherty, 23, of Tramway Avenue in Edmonton, has been charged with burglary dwelling with intent to steal, common assault of an emergency worker, assault by beating of an emergency worker, and escape from lawful custody.
Patrick Hanrahan, 20, of no fixed address, has been charged with burglary dwelling with intent to steal, and common assault of an emergency worker.
