Police attended Leyland Lane near to the Tesco Express store and found a woman in her 70s and a man in his 20s with serious injuries
Emergency services were called to the scene on Leyland Lane at around 6.20pm on Tuesday . Lancashire Constabulary said a Ford Fiesta was driving towards Croston when it collided with an MG ZS travelling in the opposite direction and about to turn into the Express store.
In a statement, South Ribble Police said: "We are appealing for witnesses after a collision left two people with serious injuries. We were called at just after 6.20pm on Tuesday, October 17 when a Ford Fiesta driving along Leyland Lane towards Croston collided with an MG ZS travelling in the opposite direction and about to turn into the Tesco Express store.
