Daniel Merriman and George Birtwell have reached the finals
of BBC 's Masterchef: The Professionals 2024. Daniel is a former senior sous chef at Northcote whilst George is the Senior Sous at The Black Swan at Oldstead, York. They beat the competition to make the final three and will compete alongside fellow chef Chiara Tomasoni.
"WOW, how lucky am I?!? So grateful to have even been given this opportunity let alone to work alongside these great chefs." Daniel is a 29-year-old sous chef and has been working in the trade for 12 years. Also a previous employee at Northcote Manor, he recently moved to be closer to his partner and now works in a local pub, The Black Bull Inn.
