Taylor Swift was previously a favourite to take one of the three Pyramid Stage headline slots. However, the pop superstar was ruled out of headlining Glastonbury Festival 2024 after announcing clashing UK and Ireland tour dates.

The headliners at Glastonbury Festival 2023 were Arctic Monkeys, Guns N' Roses and Sir Elton John. This largely male line-up came under criticism, leading festival organiser Emily Eavis to reveal that "two female headliners" are set for the Pyramid Stage in 2024.Now, Coldplay and Dua Lipa are the frontrunners, with the pair given very short odds by bookmakers. They are both priced at just 1/3 - or a 75 per cent implied probability of topping the bill on the Pyramid Stage.

There are a number of other big female names in the frame for next year.
