One man was rushed to hospital before a second arrived for treatment
Two men have been injured in a suspected double stabbing in east Manchester. Officers were called out to Barrington Street, in Clayton , at around 11.10pm on Sunday night following reports of a man receiving serious injuries.
Greater Manchester Police says that a short time later, another man presented himself at hospital with stab wounds. His injuries are believed to be linked to the same incident.A cordon has been in place on Barrington Street throughout the morning. Officers remain in attendance and enquiries are ongoing, with no arrests made so far.
“We do believe that this was a targeted incident, with no wider threat to the public. However, we do have multiple officers on the scene and in the area for reassurance and they will be able to assist with any queries you may have.
