BREAKING: Two men arrested in connection with Greater Manchester shootings
Two men have been arrested in connection with shootings in Stockport and south Manchester. Investigations were launched after shots were fired at the DRIP burger bar in Burnage and on Wilmslow Road in Stockport in April this year.
Firearms officers and the Tactical Aid Unit attended, with one man arrested at his home and the other at a hotel following what police have called an 'intensive' investigation.The Manchester Evening News previously reported how a gunman opened fire just before 11pm on April 30 at the burger restaurant on Kingsway in Burnage. DRIP has since been closed by the council and Greater Manchester Police.
"We do not tolerate firearms being used at all in Greater Manchester, and in particular within communities where people are trying to live their lives peacefully.
