Two men charged with murdering student who was shot dead in Blackburn
TWO men have today been charged with murdering Blackburn law student Aya Hachem who was shot dead on her way to Lidl.
Detectives said two shots were fired in the incident, with the first bullet hitting a building and the second killing Aya, whose family are from Lebanon.Two other men, aged 33 and 36, who were arrested on Monday on suspicion of murder and attempted murder have been released on bail pending further enquiries.A number of others arrested in connection with the murder remain in custody and enquiries are on-going, Lancashire Police said.
Aya was shot 100 metres from where she lived with mum Samar and dad Ismail and their three younger children.The dad-of-four wrote on Facebook: "My strong daughter lawyer Aya Ismail Hashem God's mercy on your pure soul.
